Presenter Biographies
Dr. Glen Finney is a board-certified behavioral neurologist and director of the Memory and Cognition Program for Geisinger. Dr. Finney obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from Florida State University, his medical degree from Temple University, internal medicine internship at Abington Memorial Hospital, neurology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and behavioral neurology fellowship at the University of Florida. His goal is to promote brain health throughout the elder years and to prevent, detect, diagnose, and help people and their families manage age-related neurodegenerative diseases, such as dementia. Dr. Finney is on the board of directors for the Greater Pennsylvania Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Dr. Rollin Wright is an Associate Professor of Medicine with Penn State Health-Hershey Medical Center’s new Division of Geriatric Medicine. She has many years of experience caring for people with dementia across the spectrum of care from outpatient, to inpatient, to long-term care and dementia support settings. She recently launched a dementia care consultation practice at Penn State Health’s internal medicine geriatrics clinic. She also is a staff physician at the Pittsburgh VA’s Geriatric Evaluation and Management Tele-dementia program. She is part of Hershey Medical Center’s application for Age-Friendly designation, co-leading the 4Ms Mentation Workgroup. She is currently working with the Age- and Dementia-Friendly Care, PA Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) based at the Penn State University College of Nursing to develop educational tools to help primary care providers in PA deliver high quality, comprehensive dementia care. Other areas of academic and clinical interest include geriatric trauma, post-acute and long-term care, geriatric education, and interprofessional education, and teaching students, residents, and fellows how to communicate and work with people and families living with dementia.
Renee Chenault Fattah is a lawyer, broadcast journalist and filmmaker having recently made the documentary In Our Right Mind: Alzheimer’s and Other Dementias’ Impact on Communities of Color. Her film led to advocacy roles at the legal nonprofit SeniorLAW Center.
Renee is currently the Executive Director of Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity. She is also one of Philadelphia’s best-known journalists, having served as the evening and weekday news co-anchor for NBC10 for close to 25 years.
She earned her BA in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University and began her career in law, graduating from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, working at Hughes Hubbard & Reed in New York City, and clerking for the late Judge Damon Keith on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Renee also earned a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Missouri. Notable stories she covered in her broadcast career include the O.J. Simpson trials, political conventions, and the school shooting massacre in Littleton, Colorado, her hometown. In 2009, Renee was inducted into the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia Hall of Fame.
An active member of the community, she speaks at local schools, church congregations and civic organizations about law, health disparities and ethics. Chenault Fattah currently serves as a trustee of Johns Hopkins University and is a former trustee of Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity. She is currently a member of the advisory council to The Hastings Center, a bioethics research center and is a member of the PennTowne Links, Inc.
Brendan Corbalis is Assistant Director of Victim Services, he co-manages a team of attorneys and legal advocates across Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties. Brendan personally litigates all cases in Bucks County arising from or directly related to elder abuse. He works closely with the Bucks County District Attorney and the Area Agency on Aging.
Born in Dublin, Ireland, he received his J.D. from Villanova University, his Master's degree from Yale, and his undergraduate degree from NYU.
Jennifer Holcomb, ADRD Task Force Chair, holds a graduate degree in Human Services and is a Personal Care Home Administrator at a 104 bed Personal Care Home. In addition, she provides oversight to a 36-bed state of the art Memory Care program and holds five certifications in dementia care. Jennifer is known for her memory care work in the local community as she launched the Dementia Friendly America initiative in York and Adams counties. In addition to this work, she provided individualized and group support for those living with ADRD in the community as well as those attending an Adult Day program. Jennifer serves as the Chair of the PA Department of Aging ADRD Task Force and volunteers as the Board Secretary for her local YWCA.
Jennifer Ebersole is a lifelong PA resident and a seasoned government relations professional with over 15 years of experience managing a variety of responsibilities for legislation, regulations, public policy, and advocacy within the legislative and executive branches of Pennsylvania state government and a national nonprofit health organization.
Jennifer joined the Alzheimer’s Association in February 2019 as the Director of State Government Affairs in Pennsylvania to oversee all executive, legislative, and regulatory levels of state government on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Association public policy functions. In addition, Jennifer oversees the PA Advocacy Program, working with Alzheimer’s grass top and grassroot advocates to mobilize around state and federal public policies. Ebersole is a graduate of Kutztown University with a major in Political Science and minor in Public Administration.
